Eine violette Distel und ein Geflecht aus roten Hagebutten vor fast schwarzem Hintergrund – ruhig, malerisch, ein Hauch gotisch. Hängen Sie es auf, und der Raum kommt zur Ruhe. Lampen fangen das Rot der Beeren ein, die Dornen wirken schärfer, und die Wand dahinter erscheint tiefer als zuvor. Es hat die Wirkung eines echten Gemäldes, nicht eines bloßen Deko-Lückenfüllers. Am besten auf Augenhöhe an einer dunkleren Wand, oder über einem Sideboard oder Schreibtisch im Arbeitszimmer. Nach Norden ausgerichtete Räume stehen ihm besonders gut – die Schatten bleiben satt, statt zu verblassen. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Wird der dunkle Hintergrund in einem kleineren Raum zu schwer wirken?

Weniger als du denkst. Der nahezu schwarze Grund tritt zurück, statt zu erdrücken — er wirkt eher wie eine tiefe Wandfarbe als ein Block Dunkelheit. In einem kleinen Arbeitszimmer oder einer gemütlichen Nische kann er den Raum tatsächlich überlegter wirken lassen. Funktioniert das mit weißen Wänden oder nur mit dunklen?

Beides, aber unterschiedlich. An einer tiefgrünen, auberginefarbenen oder kreidigen off‑white Wand fühlt es sich zu Hause. An einer strahlend weißen Wand ist der Kontrast schärfer und das Bild wirkt grafischer — immer noch gut, nur mit anderer Stimmung. Vermeide kühle, harte Weißtöne unter starker Deckenbeleuchtung; warme Lampen passen besser.

Eignet sich das besser als Einzelstück oder als Paar?

Es ist stark genug, um allein zu hängen, und entfaltet meist so seine beste Wirkung. Wenn du kombinierst, wähle ein anderes dunkles Stillleben ähnlichen Gewichts — eine kleine Porträtstudie, ein stimmungsvolles Fruchtstück oder ein ruhiges altmeisterliches botanisches Motiv. Stelle nichts Helles oder Luftiges daneben.
