How big should artwork above my bed be?
Your bedroom wall art should span roughly two-thirds the width of your headboard. For a standard UK double bed with a 135cm headboard, that means a print around 70x100cm hits the sweet spot. How high should I hang a print above my bed?
Leave a gap of 15 to 25cm between the top of your headboard and the bottom edge of the frame. This is close enough to look connected to the bed rather than drifting up toward the ceiling. If you don't have a headboard, imagine one and hang at the same height. The centre of the print should end up roughly at eye level when you're standing, which also makes it the first thing you see when you walk in.
