For the wall above a standard sofa (roughly 180-200cm wide), we'd go with a single large canvas print in 100x70cm or bigger. Our canvas prints are hand-stretched over a solid wood frame, so they're rigid and lightweight enough for adhesive picture-hanging strips if you're renting or don't want nail holes. For anything 70x100cm or larger, we'd recommend a single nail or screw into a wall plug for peace of mind. A quick rule: hang the centre of the canvas at roughly 145cm from the floor (eye level), or about 15-20cm above furniture if it's going over a sofa or sideboard. No complicated rail systems needed.
