Are flower art prints a good choice for a bedroom?
Flower art prints are one of the best things you can put in a bedroom. Soft florals in muted tones (think dusty pinks, sage greens, warm whites) bring calm without being boring. We'd suggest a single large framed print, around 50x70cm or 70x100cm, centred above your headboard. Our prints are museum-grade giclée on thick matte paper, so there's zero glare from bedside lamps or morning light. If your room leans neutral, a bold peony or dahlia print adds just enough drama without overwhelming the space.
How big should a floral art print be for a living room wall?
For the wall above a standard UK sofa (roughly 180-200cm wide), you want a print that's at least 70x100cm to hold its own and not look lost. A single large floral art print in that size makes a real statement and saves you the headache of trying to arrange a gallery wall. If your wall is even bigger, our canvas prints go up to 100x150cm, which is genuinely gallery-scale and looks incredible with a bold botanical subject like oversized roses or tropical blooms. Hang it so the centre sits at eye level when you're standing, roughly 150cm from the floor.
Are floral prints still in style in 2025 and 2026?
Floral and botanical art prints haven't just survived trends, they've outlasted almost every other decorating theme going. The current wave leans toward either moody, dark-background florals (very Dutch Golden Age) or clean, modern botanical illustrations with lots of white space. Both styles work beautifully in contemporary interiors and neither is going anywhere soon. If you're worried about something feeling dated, go for a wildflower or botanical study rather than an overly stylised pattern. It's the kind of art that still looks intentional in ten years.
Do your flower prints come framed and ready to hang?
Yes, and honestly this is the thing our customers comment on most. Every framed flower art print ships with the print already fitted inside a solid FSC-certified wood frame with UV-protective acrylic glazing, so it arrives ready to hang straight out of the box. No separate frame assembly, no warping, no bubbling behind the glass. A lot of people come to us after a bad experience with prints and frames bought separately that just never sit right. We've solved that problem entirely. You'll have it on the wall in under five minutes.
What types of botanical prints are there, and which works best for modern homes?
Botanical prints broadly fall into a few camps: scientific illustrations (detailed, labelled, very Kew Gardens), painterly florals (loose, expressive, more art than science), vintage botanicals (aged paper look, muted palette), and modern minimal florals (clean lines, bold colour, lots of negative space). For a modern home with clean furniture and neutral walls, we'd steer you toward either modern minimal florals or dark-background painterly pieces. They hold their own against contemporary interiors without clashing. Vintage botanical art prints suit period properties, farmhouse kitchens, and anywhere with warm wood tones.
