Most spring gallery walls go wrong for the same reason: they're a pile of "spring-ish" prints hung in a vaguely pleasing shape. Intentional gallery walls follow a small set of...

Which spring art prints work best for a living room that feels a bit dull after winter?

A large framed botanical or floral art print in soft greens and warm pinks will completely shift the energy of a tired living room. We'd go for a 70x100cm print above a sofa or sideboard as your focal point. The thick matte paper we use gives these spring colours real depth without any glare, so they look vibrant even in rooms that don't get loads of natural light. If your walls are neutral (think white, warm grey, or off-white), pastel spring artwork with blush and sage tones will do the heavy lifting without clashing with what you already have.

How do I build a spring gallery wall without it looking messy?

Start with three to five prints that share a colour thread rather than an identical subject. For a spring gallery wall, mix a couple of spring botanical prints with something more abstract or painterly in the same palette. Keep all frames the same finish (we'd say natural oak for spring) and stick to two sizes max, like a pair of 30x40cm prints flanking one 50x70cm centrepiece. Lay them out on the floor first and aim for 5cm gaps between frames. The result feels curated, not chaotic.

Will these prints fade if they're on a wall that gets direct sunlight?

Not a chance. Our framed spring wall art uses UV-protective acrylic glazing and museum-grade inks that will last hundreds of years, even in direct sunlight. So that bright south-facing wall above your dining table is fair game. This is genuinely one of the biggest reasons people replace cheap prints every couple of years, and you simply won't have that problem here.

Are these good as a gift for someone who just moved into a new place?

Spring flower prints for walls are one of the best housewarming gifts going, because they're personal without being presumptuous. A framed 40x50cm print is a sweet spot for gifting: substantial enough to feel considered, but not so large it dictates someone else's room. Every framed print arrives ready to hang with fixtures already attached, so they won't need to source anything extra. And with our 99-day returns policy, if the recipient wants to swap for a different piece, that's completely fine.

What spring colour schemes work in rooms that already have bold furniture or wallpaper?

If your room already has a lot going on, reach for spring nature prints with softer, more muted tones rather than vivid florals. Think watercolour meadows, gentle landscape greens, or dusty lavender over punchy pinks. A single framed print in a calm palette acts as a breathing space on the wall rather than competing with a statement sofa or patterned wallpaper. Black or dark walnut frames help ground the piece and stop the room feeling too busy. This is one of those cases where less colour in the art actually gives the whole space more personality.
