How do I choose the right size home decor art print for my wall?
Use the two-thirds rule: your art should be roughly two-thirds the width of the furniture below it. So above a standard 200cm sofa, aim for a print around 120-130cm wide (a pair of our 50x70cm framed prints side by side works perfectly) or go for a single large 70x100cm statement piece. If you're filling a blank wall with no furniture beneath it, go bigger than you think. A 30x40cm print on a large empty wall will look like a postage stamp. Our home decor art prints go up to 70x100cm framed, which is a serious statement size that fills a wall properly.
Do your home decor prints arrive ready to hang, or do I need to frame them myself?
Every framed print ships as one piece, already fitted and ready to hang with fixtures attached. You literally take it out of the box and put it on the wall. This matters more than you'd think, because the most common problem with buying wall art online is receiving a print and frame separately, then struggling with warping, bubbling, or a poor fit. Our frames are solid FSC-certified wood with UV-protective acrylic glazing, so there's no glare and your print won't fade even in a sunny living room. If you've been burned by flimsy framing before, this is the upgrade you're after.
Which home decor wall art works best in a living room?
For a living room, we think you should pick one bold, larger print (50x70cm or 70x100cm) as your anchor piece rather than scattering lots of small ones around. Landscapes and abstract prints are reliably great above a sofa because they're wide, visually calm, and give the room a focal point without competing with everything else going on. If your room already has a lot of pattern in cushions or rugs, lean towards something with a simpler palette. If your room feels flat and neutral, that's your moment to bring in colour through your art.
Can I create a gallery wall with your home decor prints?
Absolutely, and the 3-5-7 rule is your friend here: group prints in odd numbers (three, five, or seven) because even numbers tend to look rigid and formal. We'd suggest picking a consistent frame colour across all your prints (black or natural oak both work brilliantly) and mixing two or three sizes rather than making everything identical. Start by laying your arrangement out on the floor before you touch a hammer. A gallery wall of five prints mixing 21x30cm and 30x40cm sizes, centred above a console table or staircase, is one of the most satisfying things you can do with a blank wall.
What art print styles are trending for home decor right now?
Right now there's a strong move towards warm, earthy tones and textured abstract prints. Think terracotta, ochre, and soft sage rather than the stark monochrome that dominated a few years ago. Botanical prints and muted landscapes are also having a moment, especially in bedrooms and hallways. That said, trends cycle fast, and the smartest buy is always a print you genuinely love rather than one that matches a Pinterest board from six months ago. Our modern home decor prints are designed with longevity in mind, printed with museum-grade inks that last for hundreds of years, so pick something you'll still want on your wall in a decade.
