Gustav Klimt Art Prints
4.8
Klimt gets remembered for gold and pattern, but he spent his summers painting orchards, poppy meadows, birch woods and still lake water in dense flecks of colour. That's the mood most of this collection sits in. Try the Gustav Klimt flowers art prints for something warm over a bed or sofa, or the Gustav Klimt landscape art prints when you want a wall to feel calmer. Framed and ready to hang, or unframed.
Vivid colours, crisp reproductions and calm floral designs suit bedrooms, halls and cosy rooms particularly well.

The colors are vibrant and the quality of the print is excellent. The paper it is printed on is very good quality, too. Will definitely buy more prints from you, I've very impressed with overall.

I am honestly blown away by the frame quality (click thru all options and look at the gold one not featured!)and the rich colors of the artwork/print. NOT SO with this item and am going to order more ASAP for my evolving gallery wall.
Beautifully framed and good quality print with vivid colours just as the photograph
Beautifully framed and good quality print with vivid colours just as the photograph. The whole thing is lightweight the only negative was the fixing on the back instead of having one in the middle there were two so made it quite awkward to attach to the wall would prefer a centre fixing for the artwork considering it’s not heavy. Will order again . great communication and customer service reliable company.
I Googled the Colors I Wanted and Found my Perfect Print
I just moved from a three-bedroom, two story house to a two bedroom ground floor apartment. This is the start of my new life and I want new things in my new place. I stumbled across Fab by Googling, "Print, gold, teal, brown" and they popped up. I found the perfect picture in the perfect orientation with the perfect frame. My anal-retentive brother came over and hung it for me--Perfectly level! It looks perfect. I'm already eyeballing another print for my bedroom that has yet to be decorated. I'll definitely buy from them again.
recently purchased this print and I couldn't be happier with it. The quality is outstanding — the colors are vibrant, the details are crisp and sharp, and it looks even better in person than in the photos. It arrived quickly and well-packaged, with no creases or damage at all.
The print has brought so much life and personality to my wall. It's beautifully designed and really fibishes the look off.

Most people see "Art Nouveau" and reach straight for The Kiss. But Klimt, Schiele, and Mucha created three radically different aesthetics, and the wrong choice can leave a beautiful print...
Questions about Klimt prints
Framing choices, picking a subject and getting the scale right for your wall, answered simply
The best-known images are his golden-era paintings, above all The Kiss, plus the Tree of Life design and his portraits of Adele Bloch-Bauer. Alongside those icons, Klimt's landscape work is hugely popular for decorating: gardens, flower meadows, birch and fir woods, and quiet lake views. Landscape motifs like these tend to be easier to live with day to day, since they read as color and pattern rather than a single dramatic figure.
Did Klimt make prints himself?
Klimt is remembered above all as a painter and draftsman, working in oil with vivid color, ornament and gold leaf, though printed and graphic work also circulated during and after his lifetime. The Klimt prints you buy today for your walls are modern decorative reproductions of his paintings, not works printed by the artist. That's exactly what makes his golden and floral imagery affordable to hang at home.
Do Klimt prints work as a set of three?
Yes, and it's one of the easiest ways to use his work. Klimt's garden, meadow and lake landscapes share a dense, all-over color texture, so three prints of the same size and finish hang together as a calm, cohesive row above a sofa, bed or sideboard. Keep frames identical and spacing tight, around two to three inches, so the trio reads as one artwork rather than three competing pictures.
Which Klimt print works best as a statement piece above a sofa?
The Kiss is the obvious choice for good reason. It's warm, romantic, and the golden tones anchor a living room beautifully. We'd go for a framed 70x100cm print in a black or dark wood frame, hung about 15cm above the back of a standard sofa. At that size, the intricate pattern detail really comes alive, and our giclée printing captures the richness of Klimt's gold palette without any glare thanks to the matte paper and UV-protective acrylic glaze. If The Kiss feels too expected, the Tree of Life is equally striking and works brilliantly in a landscape orientation across a wide wall.
Do Gustav Klimt art prints look cheap compared to the real paintings?
This is a fair concern, especially with Klimt, because so much of his impact comes from those layered gold textures. Cheap reproductions absolutely flatten that out. Our Klimt prints use museum-grade giclée printing on thick matte paper, which preserves the tonal depth and fine detail you'd lose with a standard poster. Paired with solid wood framing and UV-protective glazing, they arrive looking genuinely gallery-quality. Our shoppers regularly tell us the prints look even better in person than on screen, which is the opposite of what most people expect.
Are Klimt prints a good gift for someone who loves art?
Klimt is one of the safest choices in art gifting because his work is instantly recognisable without feeling like a cliché. The Kiss and Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer are universally loved, and a framed print saves your recipient the hassle of sourcing a frame that actually does the work justice. Ours ship ready to hang with fixtures already attached, so the whole thing goes from box to wall in minutes. With our 99-day returns policy, there's no risk if you're guessing someone's taste.
Did Klimt use real gold in his paintings, and how does that translate to a print?
He did. During his celebrated Gold Phase (roughly 1899 to 1910), Klimt applied actual gold leaf to works like The Kiss and Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I. Obviously a print can't replicate metallic leaf, but high-quality giclée printing does something surprisingly effective: it captures the warm, luminous tonal range of the gold so that from normal viewing distance, the richness is all there. The key is print quality and paper choice. Our thick matte paper avoids the shiny, plasticky look that cheaper glossy reproductions give Klimt's gold, which ironically makes the warmth feel more authentic.
Is Klimt considered Art Nouveau, and does his work fit modern interiors?
Klimt sits right at the heart of the Vienna Secession movement, which was Austria's branch of Art Nouveau. His decorative patterns, flowing lines, and ornamental gold work are textbook Art Nouveau. But here's why that matters for your walls: those same qualities make his prints incredibly versatile in modern spaces. The flat, decorative patterning pairs naturally with mid-century modern furniture, and the warm golds and greens in pieces like the Tree of Life or his landscape paintings complement everything from neutral Scandi schemes to richer, jewel-toned rooms. He's not stuck in the past at all.
