Riguardo a quest'opera
A differenza di molte vedute urbane, non chiede permesso. Due alte colonne in terracotta incorniciano una piazza romana inondata di sole, con edifici color crema e ocra, persiane verdi e minuscole figure che attraversano la piazza.
Appeso alla parete, scalda l’ambiente: le colonne arancio terracotta portano il calore in primo piano, il cielo verde menta delicato alleggerisce la parte alta della parete e le piccole figure donano senso di scala e il ritmo lento di un pomeriggio.
Rende al meglio in un corridoio, in un soggiorno con pareti crema o bianco sporco, o in uno studio domestico che ha bisogno di una finestra su altrove. Appendilo all’altezza degli occhi oppure basso, sopra una credenza o una console.
Si abbina a rovere caldo o noce, rivestimenti in lino, vasi in terracotta, lampade in ottone e qualche pianta frondosa. Una poltrona in velluto verde qui sarebbe felicissima.
Non affollarlo con altre stampe architettoniche: lascialo dominare la parete. In cornice di rovere ha un sapore italiano; in nero ha un carattere grafico.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the strong orange take over a small room?
It is the loudest thing on the wall, so plan around it. In a small hallway or office it works because there isn't much competing furniture. In a busy room with lots of pattern or other warm colours, it will start to fight. Cream or off-white walls, plain upholstery and warm wood let it sing without overwhelming.
Is the piazza a specific place in Rome?
It is a stylised illustration rather than a portrait of one named square. The buildings, columns and shutters read as Roman and broadly Italian, but it isn't tied to a particular landmark. That makes it easier to live with — it feels like Italy as a whole, not a holiday souvenir of one location.
Does it work in a north-facing room with cool light?
Yes, and arguably better than in a sun-soaked room. The warm terracotta and cream push back against cool grey daylight and stop a north-facing room feeling flat. Pair it with warm wood and a soft lamp nearby and the colour holds up well even on dull days.
