    Riguardo a quest'opera
    Negli anni Sessanta sarebbe sembrata radicale. Lo è ancora. Due piccoli nuotatori, sospesi in un vortice d'acqua verde, dipinti con una pennellata libera abbastanza da sembrare reali e con una quiete che li rende facili da avere sotto gli occhi ogni giorno. La parete su cui va smette di sembrare affollata. I verdi sono morbidi, il color crema è scolorito dal sole e l'insieme respira. Gli ambienti si fanno più freschi, più lenti, un po' più raccolti. Sta bene sopra un letto, un divano lungo o su una parete tranquilla del bagno. Il formato quadrato la rende facile da centrare. Rende al meglio all'altezza degli occhi su una parete calma e dipinta. Abbinala a rovere chiaro, lino lavato, rattan e grès in toni gessosi. I bordi avvolti mantengono un profilo morbido contro l'intonaco o le pareti dipinte. Non affollarla. Una sola cosa sulla parete, non tre. Tesa su un telaio in legno, pronta da appendere.

    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Will the soft green look too washed out on a white wall?

    On a bright white wall it can feel a touch quiet, which is often the point. If you want more presence, hang it on a chalky off-white, soft sage or sand-toned wall — the greens read warmer and the cream centre stops looking like the wall behind it.

    Is this better above a bed or in a bathroom?

    Both work, for different reasons. Above a bed, the square format centres easily and the calm palette helps the room settle. In a bathroom, the water subject suits the room without being too on-the-nose — keep it on a dry wall away from direct splashes.

    Does the painterly brushwork still read at smaller sizes?

    Yes — the brushstrokes are loose but the two figures stay clear at medium sizes. At small sizes the swirl pattern still reads, though the figures become more of a quiet detail. For the full effect of the water, go medium or above.
