How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will this be too loud for a small living room?
Not usually. The pale blue background takes up most of the picture, so the bright blue and red read as accents rather than a wall of colour. In a small room, keep it as the only artwork on that wall and stick to plain cushions and simple wood furniture. The square shape helps it sit neatly without dominating.
What wall colour works best behind it?
Plain and matte. Off-white, soft grey-white and pale warm white all let the blue sweep move properly. It also holds up on a mid-grey wall if you want more drama. Avoid patterned wallpaper and strong feature colours like deep green or mustard, which will pull against the red and bright blue.
Does it need other artwork around it, or does it work alone?
It works well on its own and is happiest with space around all four sides. If you do want a small group, keep companions quiet: a simple line drawing or a plain blue shape, both smaller, so this stays the piece your eye lands on first. Two or three items is plenty.
