How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Is de achtergrond echt teal of meer navy?

Het valt als een diepe teal — meer naar groen dan naar blauw. Onder warm lamplicht verzacht het iets, en bij daglicht is de groene ondertoon duidelijker. Het oogt rijker naast warme houtsoorten zoals eik of walnoot dan bij koele grijstinten, die het naar marineblauw kunnen trekken.

Vult de kraanvogel de wand of zit hij aan één kant?

De vogel staat naar rechts verschoven met de vleugels omhoog en de poten naar beneden gesleept, dus de compositie is aan die kant hoog en actief. Aan de linkerkant is veel teal-achtergrond, wat hem ruimte geeft om te ademen en voorkomt dat het krap aanvoelt boven meubels.

Werkt dit in een kleine ruimte of alleen in een grote?

Het werkt in beide, maar de maat is belangrijk. In een knusse slaapkamer of studeerkamer kies je medium zodat de diepe achtergrond niet overheerst. In een grotere woonkamer of gang geeft een large of statement-formaat de vogel voldoende aanwezigheid om vanaf afstand goed te zien.
