Eerste indruk: warm goud. Kijk nog eens en je ziet de kraanvogels dicht bij elkaar in stil water, alsof ze al uren rustig met elkaar praten. Dit werk brengt direct rust in de ruimte. Het goud verspreidt warmte over de muur, de kraanvogels vormen het middelpunt en de bloesem en bamboe verzachten de randen, waardoor het geheel sereen blijft in plaats van opzichtig. Het komt het best tot zijn recht op een plek waar je echt tot rust komt: boven een dressoir in de eetkamer, achter het bed of op een accentmuur in een hal die een moment van gewicht kan gebruiken. Combineer met donker hout, linnen, messing en aardewerk in crème of klei. Een zwarte of eiken lijst geeft de juiste omlijning — beide versterken het goud zonder ermee te concurreren. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Zal de gouden achtergrond te warm lijken in een koele, grijze kamer?

Hij valt op in plaats van te versmelten. Het goud fungeert als warm anker, dus in een koelgrijs schema wordt het het focuspunt in plaats van onderdeel van de muur. Leunt de compositie naar links of rechts?

Het is redelijk symmetrisch — twee kraanvogels die elkaar nabij het midden ontmoeten, met bloesem die van linksboven valt en bamboe aan de rechterkant. Dat betekent dat het het beste hangt gecentreerd op een muur in plaats van offset, en dat het geen partnerstuk nodig heeft om te balanceren.
