Which size urban art print works best above a sofa or bed?
For the wall above a standard UK sofa or double bed, we'd go with a 70x100cm framed urban art print every time. It fills roughly two-thirds of the furniture width, which looks intentional rather than lost. Our framed prints arrive ready to hang with fixtures already attached, so you can have a cityscape or street scene on your wall in minutes, not hours wrestling with a separate frame kit. If your space is narrower, like above a hallway console, a 50x70cm print hits the sweet spot.
How do I decorate with urban art prints without the room feeling cold or industrial?
The trick is warmth in the surroundings. Pair your urban art prints with natural textures like linen cushions, a jute rug, or warm-toned wood furniture and the concrete and steel in the artwork becomes a deliberate contrast rather than an overall mood.
