How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Wirkt der weiße Hintergrund komisch an einer cremefarbenen oder gebrochen weißen Wand?

Nein, ein fast passender Ton ist der einfachste Fall. Der weiße Grund verschmilzt mit einer warmweißen oder cremefarbenen Wand, und die Blume wirkt, als würde sie auf der Farbe schweben. Vor einer kräftigeren Farbe wie Salbei oder Terrakotta erscheint das Weiß als klare Fläche, was trotzdem funktioniert, die Kanten aber sichtbarer macht. Welche Größe brauche ich, damit es von der Haustür aus sichtbar ist?

In dieser Größe bleiben die Streifen im Topf und die Punkte in der Mitte gut lesbar, und die Blume trägt die Wand für sich allein. Unter 40 cm wird es zu einem kleinen Akzent und braucht Begleitung. Über einem Sofa sorgt 70 cm oder mehr für Balance bei einem Zwei- oder Dreisitzer.

Gerät das Kobaltblau mit grünen oder salbeifarbenen Möbeln in Konflikt?

Nein, es passt gut dazu. Das tiefe Grün der Blütenblätter verbindet sich bereits mit Salbei-, Oliv- oder Waldtextilien, sodass ein grünes Sofa oder salbeifarbene Schränke eher verbinden als konkurrieren. Das Kobalt ist die eine Farbe, die du sonst im Raum sparsam einsetzen solltest. Eine Schale, ein Kissen oder gar nichts, damit das Blau im Topf im Mittelpunkt bleibt.
