Im Oktober wird die Küche am späten Nachmittag grau: Das Fensterlicht schwindet, die Arbeitsfläche wirkt matt – Zeit für eine warme Lichtquelle. Dieses Leinwandbild bringt das Orange länger zum Leuchten als jedes andere Detail im Raum. Das olivgrüne Hintergrundfeld schluckt das Streulicht statt es zurückzuwerfen – die Wand wirkt ruhig und gesetzt statt düster. Warme Brauntöne in Bodenfliesen oder ein geschrubbter Pinientisch nehmen die Nuancen auf – so entsteht ein stimmiges Ganzes. Mit 100 cm Breite deckt das Bild die Wandfläche über Bank oder Sideboard ab, ganz ohne ein zweites Motiv. Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Welche Wandfarbe passt hinter das Olivgrün und Orange?

Off-white und weiches Greige sind die sichere Wahl und lassen das Orange die Wand allein tragen. Für mehr Tiefe funktioniert ein staubiges Salbei, einen Ton heller als das Grün im Bild, sehr gut und bringt die Kürbisse zum Leuchten. Vermeide kühle Grautöne und reines Weiß, die das Orange hart und das Grün im Abendlicht schmutzig wirken lassen.

Wie breit sollte es über einer Essbank oder einem Sideboard sein?

Ziele auf etwa zwei Drittel der Möbelbreite. Über einer 150 cm breiten Bank oder einem Sideboard bedeutet das ungefähr 100 cm Breite. Das 2:1-Format hält die Höhe dezent, sodass es bequem unter einer niedrigen Decke sitzt und neben sich noch Platz für eine Lampe lässt. Unter 80 cm wirkt der Rand zu dominant und die Kürbisse verlieren ihre Proportion.

Passt es auch, wenn ich nicht für den Herbst dekoriere?

Ja, vorausgesetzt, der Raum ist ohnehin eher warm gestaltet. Das Olivgrün übernimmt den Großteil der Wirkung und liest sich eher als Farbentscheidung denn als Saison, sodass das Stück das ganze Jahr über gut in Küche oder Esszimmer funktioniert. Am wenigsten saisonal wirkt es neben echten Materialien wie Kiefer, Terrakotta und Steinzeug; am meisten saisonal neben orangefarbenen Accessoires, also am besten fernhalten.
