Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Macht der dunkle Himmel einen schmalen Flur dunkler?

Weniger, als du erwarten würdest. Die unteren zwei Drittel tragen warmes Rost, Gold und Creme, und die liegen auf Augenhöhe, also dort, wo du wirklich hinschaust. Das dunkle Wolkenband sitzt weiter oben über der Sichtlinie und wirkt dadurch eher wie Tiefe als wie Düsternis. Kombiniere es mit einer Off-White- oder Salbeiwand, und selbst ein Flur mit nur einem Fenster wirkt noch hell.

Wie groß muss es an einer Treppenwand sein?

Mindestens 100 cm hoch, besser mehr. Der Bach lebt von Distanz, und auf einem Podest schaust du ihn vom Fuß der Treppe aus an, oft aus drei oder vier Metern Entfernung. Bei dieser Distanz verliert die 60-cm-Version den Vogel und wird zu einem braunen Streifen. Nimm es so hoch, wie die Wand es zulässt, und lass an beiden Seiten einen klaren Rand aus unbemalter Wand.

Beißt sich das Rost im Gras mit einer grünen Wand?

Rost und Grün liegen sich im Farbkreis gegenüber, also verstärken sie sich gegenseitig, statt zu kollidieren. Eine staubige Salbei- oder Olivenwand lässt das Gras wärmer und den Bach kühler wirken, genau so soll es sein. Hellgrün oder Mint solltest du vermeiden, denn das kämpft mit den gedeckten Tönen und lässt die Szene blass wirken.
