Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Macht der dunkle Hintergrund meine Küche dunkler?

In der Praxis nicht. Der Hund nimmt den Großteil der Fläche ein und ist hell, daher wirkt das Bild aus der Entfernung meist überwiegend Off-White mit dunkler Kante. An einer Off-White- oder Putty-Grau-Wand rahmt das Anthrazit die Form einfach ein. Die einzige Wand, die du meiden solltest, ist eine, die bereits schwarz oder sehr dunkel gestrichen ist, denn dort verschwindet der Grund und der Hund wirkt schwebend.

Wie breit sollte ich über einem Sofa wählen?

Ziel sind ungefähr zwei Drittel der Sofabreite. Bei einem Standard-Dreisitzer sind das etwa 120 bis 140 cm, wodurch sich die einzelnen Fliesenteile auch aus sitzender Entfernung noch zeigen. Unter etwa 100 cm Breite wirkt die Mosaikstruktur flacher und das Bild sieht auf einer großen Wand schnell zu klein aus, und genau das sollte ein breites Format nie tun.

Stört sich das Rosa an Nase und Pfoten mit einer grauen Küche?

Im Gegenteil. Das Rosa ist weich und gedämpft statt grell, eher wie alter Ziegel als wie Blush, und es wärmt kühle graue Fronten auf, ohne mit ihnen zu konkurrieren. Der Trick ist, ihm etwas zum Aufgreifen zu geben, zum Beispiel einen Terrakottatopf, einen Tonkrug oder einen warmen Bodenfliesen-Ton. So wirkt die graue Küche bewusst gestaltet statt kühl.
