How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Stößt sich das Orange-Rot mit meiner Wandfarbe?

Es wirkt am besten an hellen Wänden. Cremeweiß, Hafer, warmer Stein und sanftes Putzrosa lassen das Orange-Rot nach vorn treten, ohne zu laut zu werden. Auch dunkelgrüne und marineblaue Wände funktionieren, weil beide Farben bereits in den Buchrücken vorkommen, sodass das Stück geplant und nicht nachträglich wirkt. Die eine Kombination, die du meiden solltest, ist eine mittelgraue Wand, weil sie den beigen Hintergrund schlammig macht und das Kobalt abstumpft.

Kann ich zwei davon nebeneinander hängen?

Ja, und in einem breiten Treppenabsatz ist das oft die bessere Wahl. Zwei Exemplare mit etwa 10 cm Abstand wirken wie ein langer Regalverlauf statt wie zwei Bilder. Halte die Oberkanten auf einer Linie und beide auf derselben Höhe. Drei beginnen sich wie Tapete anzufühlen, also bleib bei einem Paar und lass der restlichen Wand nichts, womit sie konkurrieren muss.

Passt es in ein Zimmer, das bereits ein echtes Bücherregal hat?

Ja, aber häng sie an unterschiedliche Wände. Gegenüber oder im rechten Winkel zu echten Regalen hängt die gemalte Version wie ein augenzwinkerndes Detail, und zusammen lassen beide den Raum noch bücherfreundlicher wirken. Direkt nebeneinander an derselben Wand konkurrieren sie, und die echten Bücher lassen die gemalten Rücken flacher wirken, als sie sollten. Gib jedem seinen eigenen Blickfang.
