How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Ja, und genau dafür ist es am besten. Häng es an die Wand neben oder gegenüber einem echten Bücherregal, damit die gemalten Regalböden die echten aufgreifen. Lass mindestens eine Handbreit Abstand zwischen beiden und gönn dem echten Regal ruhig etwas Unordnung. Wie groß sollte ich an einer schmalen Flurwand wählen?
Nimm lieber größer, als du zuerst denkst. An einer Wand zwischen 50 und 70 Zentimetern Breite solltest du eine Größe wählen, die seitlich etwa 10 Zentimeter Putz frei lässt. Weil das Bild doppelt so hoch wie breit ist, wirkt die Höhe großzügig, und genau das braucht ein Flur. Häng die Mitte auf Augenhöhe, dann liegt die Oberkante nahe am Türrahmen und verbindet sich mit der Architektur.

Welche Wandfarbe passt zu der Mischung aus Rot, Senfgelb und Blau?
Cremeweiß und helles warmes Grau sind am sichersten, weil der salbeigraue Grund des Bildes mit ihnen verschmilzt und die Buchrücken die Arbeit übernehmen. Auch tiefes Grün funktioniert und lässt das Senfgelb leuchten. Vermeide Orange, Terrakotta oder ein kräftiges Gelb, die mit Ziegelrot und Senfgelb konkurrieren, statt dahinter zu bleiben. Navy ist im Arbeitszimmer möglich, aber dann sollte das Licht warm sein, sonst verschwinden die blauen Buchrücken.
