How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Wirkt das Rosa in einem erwachsenen Schlafzimmer zu süß?

Weniger, als du vielleicht denkst. Das Rosa ist hier eher staubig als zuckrig, und fast die Hälfte des Bildes besteht aus tiefem Grün und dunklem Oliv, was es wieder in Richtung Garten holt. Gegen weißes oder naturfarbenes Leinen wirkt es weich statt mädchenhaft. Das Einzige, was du vermeiden solltest, ist noch mehr Rosa an Wänden oder Bettwäsche, denn dann kippt es tatsächlich.

Welche Größe passt über ein Doppelbett?

Bei einem Standard-Doppelbett etwa 80 cm Quadrat, bei einem King 90 bis 100 cm. Der Wirbel braucht Platz, damit man ihn vom Schlafzimmereingang aus erkennt, und in kleineren Formaten wirkt die Unschärfe eher wie Struktur. Lass ungefähr eine Handbreit zwischen Kopfteil und unterer Kante und halte die Nachttischlampen niedriger als die Bildmitte.

Wirkt die Unschärfe aus der Entfernung wie ein Fehler?

Nein, denn die zentrale Blüte ist gestochen scharf und dorthin fällt dein Blick zuerst. Aus zwei oder drei Metern Entfernung liest sich der Wirbel darum herum als gewollte Bewegung, fast wie der Blick aus der Mitte eines Blumenbeets. Erst wenn du es zu klein oder in einer dunklen Ecke aufhängst, wo das Grün an Tiefe verliert, wirkt es versehentlich.
