How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Funktioniert so ein starkes Blau in einem Raum mit grauen Wänden?

Ja, solange das Grau eher weich als stahlig ist. Die warmen Weißtöne und die pinke Blüte verhindern, dass das Blau kühl wirkt, und eine helle graue Wand lässt es präsent sitzen, ohne zu schreien. Alles deutlich kleiner wirkt schnell verloren, also lieber größer als kleiner wählen und die Unterkante etwa 25 cm über den Kissen lassen.

Hier ist viel los — wirkt das in einem kleinen Raum zu unruhig?

Es ist ein lebendiges Motiv, also gib ihm Luft zum Atmen. In einer kleinen Küche oder einem Flur hängst du es am besten an eine ansonsten leere, helle Wand und hältst die Regale daneben schlicht. Aus etwa anderthalb Metern Entfernung fügen sich Dorf und Meer zu klaren Farbflächen statt zu unruhigen Details zusammen.
