How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Verschwindet so ein blasses Stück an einer Creme- oder Off-White-Wand?

Das kann passieren, wenn du es ungefasst hängst, weil der Hintergrund nahe an warmem Off-White liegt. Ein schlanker dunkler Rahmen löst das sofort, indem er einen klaren Rand um das Creme zieht. Ja, wenn du ihm Platz gibst. Die meiste Fläche ist bewusst leer, deshalb wirkt das Stück als Pause und nicht als überwältigender Blickfang. Hänge ein mittleres Quadrat niedrig über dem Kopfteil mit viel freier Wand zu beiden Seiten und halte Bettwäsche und Nachttischdeko schlicht. Volle Hängung stoppt die Wirkung.

Funktioniert das quadratische Format in einem schmalen Flur?

Ja. Ein Quadrat wirkt in engen Räumen gut, weil du es aus nächster Nähe frontal betrachtest, statt weit zurückzutreten. Hänge es auf Augenhöhe an einen Wandabschnitt, den du langsam passierst, oder ans Ende eines Flurs als Blickpunkt. Zwei nebeneinander, gleichmäßig platziert, funktionieren auch in einem längeren Korridor.
