Violette Bart-Irisen in einer einzigen, langen Reihe – gemalt für alle, die florale Motive ohne pastellige Süße bevorzugen. Die oberen Blütenblätter schimmern in zartem Lavendel, die herabhängenden „Falls“ tauchen in tiefes, beinahe schwarzes Violett; Stiele und schmale Blätter zeigen ein ruhiges Salbeigrün. Vor einem puren Cremegrund tragen die dunklen Blütenblätter den Kontrast. Ideal über einem Kopfteil aus Leinen oder Samt, über einem niedrigen Sofa oder entlang der Esszimmerwand über einem Nussbaum-Sideboard. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Welche Größe sollte ich über einem King-Size-Bett wählen?
Wähle am besten ein Stück mit etwa zwei Dritteln der Breite des Kopfteils. Für ein King-Size-Bett mit rund 160 bis 180 cm Breite sorgt eine große Größe von etwa 110 bis 120 cm dafür, dass die Iris-Reihe gut proportioniert wirkt. Hänge es so auf, dass die Unterkante 20 bis 25 cm über dem Kopfteil sitzt, damit es als Teil des Betts und nicht wie zu hoch an der Wand schwebend wirkt.

Wie dunkel sind die Violetttöne in echt?
Die oberen Blütenblätter sind ein weiches Lavendel, während die unteren Hängeblätter ein tiefes, tintiges Violett haben, das aus der Entfernung fast schwarz wirkt. Der Hintergrund ist ein warmes Creme, daher ist der Gesamteindruck eher kontrastreich als pastellig. Am besten passt es zu warmweißen, cremefarbenen oder sanft greige Wänden; auf einem harten, kühlen Weiß können die dunklen Blütenblätter schwerer wirken.

Funktioniert es auch im Wohnzimmer genauso gut wie im Schlafzimmer?
Ja. Die lange horizontale Form passt an die Wand über einem Drei-Sitzer-Sofa oder einem niedrigen Sideboard genauso gut wie über ein Kopfteil. Im Wohnzimmer harmoniert es schön mit Polstern in Pflaume, Salbei oder Creme sowie mit Messing- oder Walnussdetails. Weil die Komposition aus einer ausgewogenen Reihe ohne einzelnen Fokuspunkt besteht, funktioniert sie auch zentriert an einer Esszimmerwand.
