How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Wird das an einer größeren Wand zu klein wirken?

Nicht, wenn du den leeren Raum nutzt. Sumi-e basiert auf Negativraum, daher wirkt ein mittleres Quadrat an einer großen Wand eher durchdacht als verloren. Gib ihm auf allen Seiten einen breiten, klaren Rand, hänge es auf Augenhöhe und widersteh der Versuchung, die Wand drumherum zu füllen. Eine kleine Seitenlampe oder ein niedriges Möbelstück darunter verankert es schön.

Wirkt das kleine rote Siegel als starker Farbakzent?

Es ist ein dezenter Akzent, kein Farbstatement. Das Siegel ist klein und sitzt tief in der Komposition, es erwärmt das Werk, ohne den Raum in Richtung Rot zu ziehen. Wenn dein Schema strikt kühle Neutraltöne oder eisige Blautöne hat, wirkt das Siegel trotzdem wie ein sanftes, erdendes Detail und kein Farbkonflikt.

Passt das in ein Kinderzimmer oder eine Babystube?

Kann, aber es ist kein verspielter Cartoon-Frosch — die Stimmung ist ruhig und erwachsen. Es passt am besten in ein Baby- oder Kinderzimmer, in dem die Farbpalette bereits sanft und neutral ist und die Eltern Kunst wollen, die auch in zehn Jahren noch passt. Für einen helleren, verspielteren Kinderraum such lieber etwas mit kräftigeren Farben.
