Über dieses Werk

For a bedroom full of curves, this abstract brings the check. Muted sage green, warm rust and chalky off-white meet on a textured, plaster-like surface, so the whole thing feels gently aged rather than shiny or new. Hang it and the room settles. Corners feel less bare, softer light gets a place to land, and busy shelves start to look intentional. It works above a low bed, over a linen sofa, or at the end of a hallway where you want a pause. Pair it with pale oak, warm walnut, aged brass, stoneware and lots of linen. Skip it if your room already leans crisp, glossy and high contrast — this one likes soft edges and quiet walls.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the sage green read as green or more like grey?

It sits on the muted, dusty side — closer to a soft grey-green than a fresh leaf green. Against a warm off-white or plaster wall, the green becomes clearer; against a cool grey wall, it will read more neutral. Pair it with warm woods and cream textiles to bring the green forward.

Is it calm enough to hang above a bed?

Yes. The tones are muted, the contrast is low and the mood is quiet, so it settles a bedroom rather than energising it. A medium size centred above the headboard gives you a soft focal point without pulling attention when you're trying to wind down.

Does it need lots of other art around it, or can it work on its own?

It works both ways. Solo, it acts as a gentle anchor on a softly painted wall above a bed, sofa or console. In a small cluster of two or three, it plays connector between botanicals, line art or muted landscape pieces in the same sage, rust and cream family.
