How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Funktioniert der salbeigrüne Hintergrund an einer schlichten weißen Wand?

Ja, und genau dort wirkt er am stärksten. Auf Weiß erscheint das Salbei als weicher Farbbereich und die cremefarbenen Blätter heben sich davon ab. An einer off-white oder putzfarbenen Wand wirkt es etwas ruhiger und die Rostadern fallen zuerst ins Auge. Die eine Wand, die du meiden solltest, ist eine salbeigrüne, weil Hintergrund und Farbe dann ineinander übergehen und nur die Blätter übrig bleiben.

Welche Größe sollte ich für die Wand über einer Küchenarbeitsplatte kaufen?

Miss die freie Wandfläche zwischen Arbeitsplatte und Hängeschrank oder Decke. Bei einem typischen Abstand von etwa 80 bis 100 cm lässt ein Quadrat von 50 bis 60 cm oben und unten genug Luft und hält die feinen Adern vom Kücheneingang aus gut lesbar. Unter 40 cm verlieren die Blätter aus der Entfernung an Detail. Häng es so auf, dass die Unterkante etwa 20 cm über der Arbeitsplatte sitzt.

Kollidiert es mit echten Zimmerpflanzen im selben Raum?

Das hängt davon ab, wo sie stehen. Eine hängende Pflanze auf einem Regal oder ein Topf auf dem Boden darunter wirkt absichtlich und verbindet die Farben. Eine große Blattpflanze direkt daneben konkurriert, weil das Auge dann zwei Blattgruppen gleichzeitig liest. Halte echtes Grün etwa einen Meter entfernt oder wähle Pflanzen mit kleinen Blättern, dann passen beide gut in einen Raum.
