Spätnachmittags entfaltet dieses Motiv seine volle Wirkung: In einem nach Westen ausgerichteten Wohnzimmer taucht goldenes Licht den Raum in Wärme. Korallrot fängt es zuerst ein, dann Senfgelb – die ganze Wand leuchtet, während Petrol/Teal Ruhe und Balance bringt. Ideal über dem Sofa in ca. 120 cm Breite aufgehängt, sodass die Unterkante eine Handbreit über den Rückenkissen liegt. Dazu passt naturfarbenes Leinen, ein bis zwei dunkelgrüne Samtkissen und freiliegende Holzdielen. Am Abend, unter einer einzelnen warmen Lampe, werden die Punkte zu spürbarer Struktur und Gäste schauen automatisch näher hin. Die Wand dahinter sollte off-white bleiben – farbige Hintergründe konkurrieren mit dem Motiv. Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Passt Teal und Coral zu einem grauen Sofa?

Ja, wenn das Grau warm ist. Ein mittleres oder helles Warmgrau lässt Coral und Senfgelb nach vorn treten, und das Teal wirkt eher wie ein Verwandter des Graus als wie ein Gegensatz. Kühles Blaugrau ist schwieriger, weil das Teal daneben grünlicher wirkt. Mit einem Coral-Kissen und einem Holztisch aus Naturholz fügt sich das Sofa ein.

Wie breit sollte es über einem Dreisitzer-Sofa sein?

Ziel sind zwei Drittel der Sofabreite, also meist zwischen 120 und 140 cm. Schmaler als ein Meter wirken die Punkte und Streifen aus dem Raum eher wie Struktur, und die Hügel gehen verloren. Häng es so, dass die Unterkante etwa eine Handbreit über den Rückenpolstern sitzt – tiefer, als man intuitiv denkt –, damit Sofa und Bild als ein Block wirken.

Ist es zu unruhig für ein Schlafzimmer?

Das hängt davon ab, was sonst noch drin ist. Über einem niedrigen Kopfteil mit weißer Leinenbettwäsche und einer schlichten Decke funktioniert es, weil der Rest des Raums ihm Platz lässt. Mit gemusterter Bettwäsche, einem lebhaften Teppich und gestapelten Kissen wird es zu viel. Behandle es als einziges Muster im Raum und halte die Wand dahinter warmweiß.
