How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Überlagern die roten Streifen eine kleine Küche zu stark?
Nicht, wenn die Wand drumherum schlicht ist. Das Rot wird durch viel tiefes Grün und Off-White ausgeglichen, sodass es vom Türrahmen aus eher wie eine fröhliche Blumenvase als wie eine rote Fläche wirkt. Häng es nur an eine Wand, verzichte direkt dahinter auf gemusterte Fliesen und wähle für eine schmale Küche eine Größe um 50 cm. Größer und die Streifen dominieren den engen Raum zu stark.

Welche Wandfarbe passt am besten dazu?
Kreidiges Off-White und Altrosa sind am einfachsten. Beide greifen Farben aus dem Bild auf und lassen die roten Streifen wirken. Auch Salbei oder ein sanftes Grün passt, weil es die Blätter aufnimmt und das Ganze beruhigt. Vermeide mittlere Grautöne, die die rosafarbenen Streifen stumpf wirken lassen, und kräftige Blautöne, die mit dem Rot konkurrieren statt daneben zu stehen.

Passt es ins Schlafzimmer, oder ist es zu lebhaft?
Es passt gut in ein Schlafzimmer, das bereits etwas Farbe hat, etwa mit lackiertem Kopfteil oder einer floralen Steppdecke. An einer schlichten weißen Wand gegenüber dem Bett gibt es dem Raum einen Fokuspunkt, den du beim Aufwachen siehst. In einem ruhigen grauen oder beigen Schlafzimmer ist es das Lauteste im Raum, was manche mögen und andere nicht. Mit Ticking-Leinen oder einer roten Tagesdecke fügt es sich gut ein.
