Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Wirkt das Braun an einer weißen Wand stumpf?

An einer rein strahlend weißen Wand können die dunkleren Hügel etwas schwer wirken, deshalb solltest du die Wand oder das Licht wärmer gestalten. Wände in Off-White, Stone oder Putzrosa lassen das Creme im Himmel und im Fluss mit der Wand verschmelzen, und das Braun tritt dann als Gestaltungselement nach vorne. Warme Leuchtmittel leisten denselben Dienst, wenn du lieber nicht neu streichen möchtest.

Wie breit sollte es über einem Standard-Dreisitzer sein?

Ziel sind ungefähr zwei Drittel der Sofabreite, was bei den meisten Dreisitzern 120 cm bis 140 cm bedeutet. Bei dieser Breite zieht sich die Flusslinie fast über die gesamte Spannweite und die Wand wirkt wie ein einziger ruhiger Abschnitt. Unter etwa 100 cm wirkt das Bild eher wie ein kleines Motiv über einem großen Sofa, und der Nebel verliert seine Wirkung.

Funktioniert es im Schlafzimmer oder ist es zu stimmungsvoll?

Es funktioniert sehr gut im Schlafzimmer, vor allem weil keine Farbe darin steckt, die das Auge wach hält. Himmel und Wasser nehmen die obere Hälfte ein, sodass oberhalb eines Kopfteils der hellere Teil auf Augenhöhe sitzt, wenn du stehst, und die dunkleren Hügel hinter den Kissen verschwinden. Zusammen mit Off-White- oder Oat-Leinen wirkt es ruhig statt düster.
