How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Ist das Blau sehr kräftig, oder wirkt es an der Wand weicher?

Es wirkt kräftig. Himmel und Fluss nehmen den größten Teil des Quadrats ein, sodass das Blau im Raum präsent ist, statt ruhig im Hintergrund zu bleiben. Am besten wirkt es an einer off-white, hellgrauen oder warmen Steinwand, wo das Blau Raum zum Atmen hat. An einer bereits blau oder teal gestrichenen Wand werden die beiden Blautöne miteinander konkurrieren.

Kollidiert das rosa Blütenmotiv mit einem warmen, erdigen Raum?

Ja, aber der Unterton zählt. Das Pink ist ein leuchtendes, kühles Pink, also passt es nicht zu Terrakotta oder Rost. Es harmoniert viel besser mit off-white Wänden, mittelbraunem Holz, grauem Leinen und schwarzem Metall. Wenn dein Raum stark auf Burnt Orange und Clay setzt, wirkt die Blütenecke eher wie ein fremder Farbton als wie ein freundlicher Akzent.

Passt die quadratische Form über ein breites Sofa?

Ja, aber die Proportionen sind wichtig. Ein Quadrat sollte großzügig genug sein, um eine Dreisitzer-Wand zu tragen, also lieber groß statt mittel wählen und über der Sofalehne einen klaren Abstand von etwa 20 bis 25 cm lassen. Unter einer großen Größe kann ein Quadrat an einer breiten Wand verloren wirken, daher kombiniere eine kleinere Größe besser mit einer schmaleren Konsole.
