How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Ist das Orange zu viel für eine kleine Küche?
Nicht bei der richtigen Größe. Bei 50 cm Quadrat wirkt das Orange wie ein geschlossener warmer Block, etwa so groß wie eine Schranktür, und eine weiße Küche steckt das gut weg. Probleme gibt es erst, wenn du zusätzlich orange oder Terrakottafliesen hast, denn dann konkurrieren Wand und Bild. Lass die umliegende Wandfarbe cremeweiß, dann erledigen Streifen und Katze den Rest.

Welche Größe passt an die Wand hinter einem Esstisch?
Nimm 70 cm Quadrat, wenn der Tisch vier Plätze hat und an der Wand sonst nichts hängt. Häng es so, dass die Unterkante eine Handbreit über den Stuhllehnen sitzt, und zentriere es am Tisch statt an der Wand, denn von dort schaut man darauf. Kleiner als 50 cm und es wirkt aus dem Raum wie eine Postkarte.

Würde es in ein Kinderzimmer passen?
Ja, und besser als die meisten Bilder für Erwachsene. Kinder verstehen die Katze sofort als Witz, und die Farben halten neben Spielzeug und bunter Bettwäsche stand, ohne zu süß zu wirken. Häng es an die Wand gegenüber dem Bett, damit es morgens als Erstes gesehen wird. Vermeide pinke Wände, die die Streifen flach wirken lassen.
