Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Wirkt das Teal in einem nach Norden ausgerichteten Schlafzimmer zu kühl?
Nicht, wenn die Wand dahinter warm ist. Nordlicht flacht Farben ab und lässt das Teal etwas grauer wirken, was eher beruhigend als kühl ist. Streich die Wand in Warmweiß oder einem sanften Oat-Ton, dann nimmt der rosige Sand unten im Bild diese Wärme auf. Kühles Grau plus Nordlicht ist die einzige Kombination, die du vermeiden solltest.

Wie breit sollte ich über einem Kingsize-Bett gehen?
Ein UK King ist 150 cm breit, also sollte das Kunstwerk etwa 100 cm bis 130 cm abdecken. Unter 100 cm wirkt es verloren und die Surfer werden zu kleinen Punkten. Bei 120 cm sitzt die Wellenlinie gerade innerhalb der Kopfteilkanten und die Wand wirkt geplant. Lass ungefähr 15 bis 20 cm Abstand zwischen Kopfteil und Unterkante.

Kann man die Surfer aus der Entfernung erkennen?
Vom Türbereich aus siehst du zuerst die großen Formen: das tealfarbene Wasser, die weiße Schaumlinie und den hellen Sand. Die Surfer werden näher sichtbar, aus etwa zwei Metern, und die zwei Personen am Strand noch später. Genau dieses langsame Entdecken macht den Reiz aus, also häng es am besten dorthin, wo man darauf zugeht und nicht nur daran vorbeiläuft.
