How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Der Hintergrund ist ein warm gealtertes Creme und nicht strahlend weiß, und er bedeckt den Großteil des Kunstwerks. Genau diese Wärme sorgt dafür, dass die schwarze Tusche nicht hart wirkt. Kommt die feine Pinselstruktur in kleiner Größe noch gut zur Geltung?

Medium funktioniert gut über einem Schreibtisch oder einer Konsole. Wenn du die Wand hast, wähle größer und betrachte es aus etwa zwei Metern, damit die einzelnen Pinselspuren sichtbar bleiben.

Spielen die chinesische Schrift und das rote Siegel für die Hängung eine Rolle?
Die Schrift und das rote Siegel sitzen links unten, daher ist die Komposition leicht außermittig. Lass beim Aufhängen links etwas mehr Luft oder zentriere es sauber an der Wand und lass das Siegel als einzigen kleinen Farbakzent wirken. Vermeide es, diese Seite mit Gegenständen zuzustellen.
