Über einem anthrazitfarbenen Sofa hebt das schiefergraue Himmelslicht das verbleibende Tageslicht hervor. Das tiefe Grün der Hügel harmoniert hervorragend mit dunkel gebeizter Eiche und einer Wolldecke. Halten Sie die Beleuchtung dezent. Lassen Sie die restliche Wand frei. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Wird das Grau mein Wohnzimmer kühl wirken lassen?

Das hängt davon ab, was darunter steht. An einer weißen Wand mit kühlen Leuchtmitteln wirkt das Schiefergrau eher kühl. Auf tiefgrünem oder anthrazitfarbenem Anstrich, mit einer warmen Lampe und Wolle oder dunklem Holz in der Nähe, wirkt das Grau wie ein Fenster an einem bedeckten Tag. Die meisten Räume mit dunklem Sofa oder Holzboden tragen es ganz leicht.

Welche Größe sollte ich für über dem Sofa wählen?

Orientier dich an etwa zwei Dritteln der Sofabreite. Bei einem normalen Dreisitzer heißt das mindestens 80 cm im Quadrat. Der Vogel ist eine kleine Form in einem großen Himmel, deshalb geht bei unter 60 cm die Wirkung aus der Distanz verloren und es bleibt ein graues Quadrat. Hier ist größer sicherer als bei lebhafteren Motiven.

Passt die Schrift auch ins Schlafzimmer?

Ja, denn es ist ein einzelnes Wort in ruhiger Serifenschrift statt eines Slogans. Es wirkt eher als Teil der Landschaft denn als Botschaft. Im Schlafzimmer hängt es am besten an der Wand gegenüber dem Bett, nicht über dem Kopfteil, damit das Wort auf Augenhöhe zu sehen ist und die Hügel bei gedimmtem Licht ruhig bleiben.
