Über dieses Werk

Dark pines stand in a bank of grey fog, a blush of pink light behind them, and two deer stand almost hidden at the treeline. It suits anyone who wants a landscape that feels quiet without going flat. The long horizontal shape fits over a king-size headboard or a three-seat sofa, where the charcoal green trees give the wall a clear line and the pale mist keeps it soft. The dove grey and pink sit well with off-white linen, pale oak, stone and brushed steel, and the deer reward a second look up close. Go wide enough to cover about two thirds of the furniture below so the fog has room to drift across the wall. Printed on premium fine-art paper, unframed or framed in real wood.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

What size works above a king-size bed?

Aim for a width of about two thirds of the headboard, so roughly 120 to 140 cm for a king-size bed. The long format means the forest reads as a single horizon at that size, and the deer near the bottom stay visible from the doorway. Hang it 20 to 25 cm above the headboard so it feels connected to the bed.

Is it a pink piece or a grey piece?

Mostly grey. Pale dove grey fog takes up more than half the picture, with charcoal green pines across the middle. The pink is a soft blush glow in the sky behind the trees, so it adds warmth without making the room feel pink. It works best with grey, white and natural wood, and one blush accent will pick it up.

Where are the deer in the picture?

There are two, standing at the bottom right in the fog just in front of the treeline. They are painted as dark silhouettes and almost dissolve into the mist, so they show up on a second look rather than straight away. That makes the piece reward close viewing in a bedroom or hallway while still reading as a calm forest from across the room.
