How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Kollidiert das Petrol mit einer warmen Cremewand?

Creme passt, solange es ein sanftes Creme ist und kein gelblicher Ton. Wie groß sollte ich auf einem Treppenpodest gehen?

Nimm groß. Auf einem Podest siehst du es zuerst vom Fuß der Treppe aus, also aus mehreren Metern Entfernung, und in klein wirkt es so, als würden die Blütenköpfe zu einem grünen Streifen schrumpfen. Ein hohes Stück von etwa 100 cm hält die drei Blütenköpfe vom Flurboden aus gut lesbar, während die Breite schmal genug für die Wand neben einem Handlauf bleibt.

Warum verblasst ein Teil des Motivs in Bleistift?

Morris zeichnete das als Arbeitsentwurf für gewebten Stoff, also malte er nur den Teil, den er dem Weber zeigen musste, und ließ den Rapport als Bleistiftumriss stehen. An der Wand wirkt der unbemalte Bereich wie Teil der Wand selbst, deshalb passt er so gut zu einer schlichten hellen Farbe. Die Farbe endet dort, wo die Zeichnung aufhört, und genau das gibt ihm den Freiraum, der einem voll kolorierten Poster fehlen würde.
