How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Passt das knallige Pink zu einer Terrakotta- oder orangefarbenen Küche oder beißt es sich damit?
Das Orange-Rot in den Blütenblättern liegt nah an Terrakotta, daher wirken die beiden eher wie aus derselben Farbfamilie als wie ein Konflikt. Das Pink ist der stärkere Ton. Beschränke Terrakotta auf eine Fläche, den Boden oder eine Reihe Töpfe und lass die Wände creme oder weiß. Vor orangenen Schränken würde es sich eher mit ihnen messen, also hänge es an die gegenüberliegende Wand, sodass die Schränke nicht im Bild sind.

Welche Größe funktioniert über einer Konsole oder einem Sideboard?
Orientiere dich an ungefähr zwei Dritteln der Möbelbreite. Eine 90-cm-Konsole nimmt ein 60-cm-Quadrat gut auf, und ein 120-cm-Sideboard braucht 70 cm oder mehr. Unter 50 cm verlieren die aufrechten Blätter ihre Wirkung, und genau das macht die Komposition stark. Hänge die Mitte auf Augenhöhe, etwa 145 cm vom Boden, mit 20 bis 30 cm freier Wand über der Oberkante der Konsole.

Funktioniert es auch in einem nach Norden ausgerichteten Raum?
Ja, und wahrscheinlich sogar besser als vieles andere. Kühles Nordlicht flacht sanfte Farben ab, aber dieses Pink und Grün sind kräftig genug, um auch um vier Uhr nachmittags noch leuchtend zu bleiben. Der cremefarbene Grund wirkt etwas grauer als in der Sonne, also wärme den Raum mit einem Holztisch oder einer Messinglampe in der Nähe auf. Vermeide eine graue Wand dahinter, denn sie zieht das Cremefarbene mit nach unten.
