How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Geht das helle Grün auf einer weißen Wand verloren?

Auf einer hellweißen Wand wirkt das Salbeigrün wie ein weicher Graugrün-Block und die Pfirsichmarken setzen den Kontrast, sodass die Form erhalten bleibt statt zu verblassen. Auf einem kreidig gebrochenen Weiß oder warmen Weiß liegt es näher an der Wand und wirkt mehr wie Teil des Putzes. Beides funktioniert. Auf einer salbeigrünen oder mintgrünen Wand verschwinden die Kanten allerdings, daher wähle dort lieber eine hellere oder wärmere Wandfarbe.

Welche Größe sollte ich für einen Treppenabsatz wählen?

Miss vom oberen Rand des Geländers bis zur Decke und ziehe etwa 30 cm ab. Auf den meisten Treppenabsätzen bleibt so Platz für ein Stück mit 90 cm bis 120 cm Höhe, und genau in diesem Bereich wirkt dieses hier richtig. Unter 70 cm werden die feinen Markierungen vom Treppenfuß aus zu verschwommen. Halte die Breite unter halb so breit wie die Wand, damit der freie Putz links und rechts mitarbeitet.

Stößt sich der Pfirsichton mit warmen Holzböden?

Der Pfirsichton ist nur ein kleiner Akzent und harmoniert daher gut mit Eichen-, Eschen- und hellen Kiefernböden, weil er deren Wärme aufgreift. Dunkles Nussbaum- oder rötlich getöntes Mahagoni ist schwieriger, da der kühle Salbeigrund dann neben dem Boden zu frostig wirkt. Wenn dein Boden dunkel ist, leg einen hellen Läufer oder einen Leinentteppich unter das Bild, um den Kontrast zu mildern.
