Geben Sie ihm die schmale Wand neben der Haustür – so gehängt, dass der Blick des Katers auf Augenhöhe ist, wenn Sie die Stiefel ausziehen. Rostrote Streifen vor weiß gestrichener Wand wirken klar und frisch. Vor einer pudrig rosa Wand werden sie warm. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Wie groß sollte es für eine Flurwand sein?

Nimm lieber größer, als vernünftig wirkt. Im Flur siehst du es aus der Nähe und vom anderen Ende, also braucht es genug Höhe, um als Figur zu wirken und nicht als Streifen. Auf einem 60 cm breiten Wandstreifen füllt ein Format von 40 x 80 cm den Platz, ohne den Türrahmen zu berühren. Auf einem größeren Treppenabsatz lässt 50 x 100 cm die Streifen vom Fuß der Treppe aus richtig wirken.

Passt das Salbeigrün an eine grüne Wand?

Das hängt von der Tiefe ab. An einer hellen Salbei- oder Eau-de-Nil-Wand verschwindet der Untergrund fast, und Katze und Blumen wirken schwebend, was gewollt und ziemlich schön aussieht. An einem tiefen Wald- oder Flaschengrün wird das gedämpfte Salbeigrün grau und das Ganze flach. Weiße, cremefarbene und altrosa Wände geben ihm die klarste Kontur und halten das Rostrot kräftig.

Ist es zu kindlich für einen erwachsenen Raum?

Der Humor ist eher trocken als niedlich, deshalb funktioniert es auch in einem von Erwachsenen genutzten Flur. Die Farben sind gedämpft, die Zeichnung ist flach und grafisch, und der mürrische Blick wirkt wie ein Witz über Katzen und nicht wie ein Cartoon für Kinder. In einer Küche oder einem Gäste-WC zaubert es Gästen ein Lächeln ins Gesicht. In einem formellen Wohnzimmer wäre es fehl am Platz.
