How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Wie groß sollte ich für ein Treppenpodest wählen?
Nimm größer, als es dein Bauchgefühl sagt. Das Format ist doppelt so hoch wie breit, deshalb kann eine mittelgroße Größe wie ein schmaler Streifen statt wie eine Aussicht wirken. An einer typischen Podestwand von etwa 80 cm Breite füllt ein Stück mit rund 50 cm Breite und 100 cm Höhe die Fläche gut und setzt den Horizont beim Erreichen der obersten Stufe auf Augenhöhe.

Funktioniert es eher im Schlafzimmer als im Flur?
Ja, eher neben dem Bett als darüber. Häng es an die Wand neben dem Kopfteil, mit der Unterkante auf Höhe der Oberkante des Kopfteils, und es wirkt wie ein hohes Fenster auf einen ruhigen Strand. Oatmeal- oder steinfarbene Leinenbettwäsche und ein niedriger heller Holztisch halten die Stimmung weich. Verzichte auf Kissen in kräftigem Blau, die mit der schmalen Horizontlinie konkurrieren.
