How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Wie breit sollte ich es über einem Standard-Doppelbett wählen?
Richte dich nach mindestens zwei Dritteln der Bettbreite. Bei einem 135-cm-Doppelbett sind das mindestens 90 cm, 120 cm sehen noch besser aus. Weil das Format doppelt so breit wie hoch ist, bleibt auch eine große Größe niedrig und drängt die Decke nicht nach unten. Zentriere es auf das Bett, nicht auf die Wand, wenn beides unterschiedlich ist.

Passt es ins Esszimmer oder ist es nur ein Motiv fürs Schlafzimmer?
Es passt gut über ein langes Sideboard oder an die Wand hinter einem Esstisch, wo der niedrige Horizont auf Augenhöhe für Sitzende liegt. Die Grau- und Salbeitöne beruhigen einen Raum, der meist abends genutzt wird, und Kerzenlicht wärmt die Sandfarben. Lass die Wand ansonsten frei und gib dem langen Format den Raum, den es braucht.
