How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Wird das Korallenrot in einem schmalen Flur zu laut wirken?

In einem schmalen Raum wirkt das Rot eher wie kleine Akzente als wie ein Block, weil der Großteil der Fläche Petrol und Navy ist. Wie viel Höhe braucht es auf einem Treppenpodest?

Die Proportionen sind doppelt so hoch wie breit, also ist die Höhe entscheidend. Auf einem Podest solltest du mindestens 120 cm freie Wand lassen, damit das Bild rund 100 cm hoch wirken kann, ohne Decke oder Geländer zu bedrängen. Zentrier es an der Treppenwende, wo du es auf dem Weg nach oben siehst. Unter 80 cm verliert sich die Schichtung der Hügel schnell in einer einzigen Textur.

Welche Wandfarbe lässt das Petrol am tiefsten wirken?

Kreidiges Off-White sorgt für den stärksten Kontrast und hält das Punktmuster scharf. Eine tief petrol- oder flaschengrüne Wand in einem ähnlichen Ton lässt die Hügel aus der Farbe herauswachsen und macht die rote Sonne zum einzigen hellen Punkt, was gut zu einem stimmungsvollen Flur passt. Vermeide mittlere Grautöne, weil sie Petrol und Senf gleichermaßen flach wirken lassen. Warmes Creme funktioniert, wenn der Raum wenig Tageslicht bekommt.
