How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Wirkt das Rosa in einem Erwachsenenbad zu süß?
Nicht mit dem Marineblau daneben. Die dunkle Figur nimmt etwa die Hälfte der Fläche ein, sodass das Rosa eher wie ein Puder-Ton als wie Zuckerware wirkt. Halte den Rest des Raums bei weißen Fliesen, Chrom und einem marineblauen Element, einer Konsole oder einem Handtuch, dann sieht das Ganze bewusst gestaltet aus. Vermeide Roségold-Armaturen, die das Rosa in die falsche Richtung ziehen.

Wie hoch sollte ich an einer schmalen Flurwand gehen?
Lieber höher als dir zunächst angenehm ist. An einer Wand von etwa 60 cm Breite lässt ein 40 x 80 cm großes Stück links und rechts etwa eine Handbreite Luft und füllt die Höhe so, wie das Format es will. Häng es so auf, dass die Augen auf deiner Blickhöhe liegen, meist vom Türbereich aus, und lass den Rest der Wand leer.

Passt es in ein Kinderzimmer, ohne babyhaft zu wirken?
Ja, weil es gemalt und nicht wie ein Cartoon gezeichnet ist. Die Pinselspuren und Punkte geben ihm den Charakter eines gefundenen Folk-Art-Stücks, sodass es auch mit zwölf noch passt. Kombiniere es mit schlichter marineblauer Bettwäsche und einem hellrosa Teppich, verzichte auf Figurenmotive, und es überdauert die meisten Dinge im Raum.
