How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Passt das Rot zu meinen Küchenfarben oder wirkt es störend?

Weniger, als du vielleicht denkst. Das Rot nimmt weniger als ein Drittel des Bildes ein, und das sanfte Salbei sorgt für die Ruhe. Nur in einer ohnehin roten Küche tut es sich schwer, weil es dann nicht mehr Akzent, sondern einfach mehr vom Gleichen ist.

Welche Größe sollte ich über einem Küchentisch aufhängen?

Für einen Tisch für zwei bis vier Personen sind 50 bis 60 cm Kantenlänge ideal, und häng es so, dass die Mitte etwa 145 cm über dem Boden liegt, etwas tiefer, wenn man es meist im Sitzen sieht. Über einer Arbeitsfläche reichen 40 bis 50 cm, weil du es aus der Nähe betrachtest. Unter 40 cm wirkt der Pinselstrich weicher und das Stück beginnt, wie eine Karte auszusehen.

Funktioniert es auch anderswo als in der Küche?

Ja, solange Essen dort Sinn ergibt. Ein Sideboard im Esszimmer ist der naheliegende zweite Platz, und eine kleine Büroecke, in der Kaffee getrunken wird, ist überraschend passend. Es eignet sich auch für die Wand neben einer Hintertür zum Garten, wo das Salbei das Grün draußen aufgreift. Wohn- und Schlafzimmer lassen es meist eher fehl am Platz wirken.
