How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Wirken die navy- und burgunderfarbenen Blätter in einem kleinen Flur schwer?

Nur wenn auch die Wand darum herum dunkel ist. Auf warmem Off-White oder Creme liegen die dunklen Blätter tief, und das hellere Salbei, Rosa und Graublau tragen die obere Hälfte, sodass das Gewicht nahe am Boden bleibt, wo ein Flur es gut verträgt. Halte Sockelleiste und Türrahmen hell, und der Gang wirkt leichter statt schwerer.

Wie hoch sollte ich an einer Treppenpodest-Wand gehen?

Am besten mindestens einen Meter hoch. Eine Podestwand sieht man meist von unten und aus einigen Metern Entfernung, und genau dort brauchen die sieben Farbbänder genug Raum, um als einzelne Blätter statt als ein einziger Streifen zu wirken. Zentriere die Mitte des Bildes auf Augenhöhe für jemanden, der auf dem Podest steht, nicht auf der Treppe.

Muss der Cremegrund zu meiner Wandfarbe passen?

Nein, aber die Wand sollte eher warm als kühl sein. Auf einer Creme- oder warmweißen Wand verschwindet der Hintergrund fast und die Blätter scheinen zu schweben, was der beabsichtigte Effekt ist. Auf einer kühlen grauen Wand wirkt das Creme im Vergleich gelblicher. Auch dunkle Grün- oder Navy-Wände funktionieren, weil die Blätter dann als Farbsäule in einem helleren Feld gelesen werden.
