How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Macht all das Navy mein Schlafzimmer dunkel?
Weniger, als du denkst. Das Navy sitzt als eine Fläche über dem Bett, statt den ganzen Raum zu umschließen, und die roten, pinken und gelben Blütenköpfe ziehen den Blick entlang der Unterkante. Welche Größe passt über ein Kingsize-Bett?
Orientiere dich an der Breite der Matratze oder etwas weniger, also etwa 120 bis 150 cm für ein King. Da das Format doppelt so breit wie hoch ist, ergibt das ein Bild von nur 60 bis 75 cm Höhe, das über das Kopfteil passt, ohne die Decke zu bedrängen. Unter einem Meter Breite werden die Blumen zu Punkten und der Mond verliert seine Wirkung in der oberen Ecke.

Ich habe schon ein blaues Sofa. Passt das zusammen?
Das hängt vom Blau ab. Ein navy- oder tintenfarbenes Sofa funktioniert gut, weil der Himmel im Bild dieselbe Tiefe hat und die Blumen für beide den Akzent setzen. Ein helles oder petrolfarbenes Sofa konkurriert damit, weil die beiden Blautöne nebeneinander stehen und keiner gewinnt. Wenn dein Sofa hellblau ist, hänge es lieber ins Schlafzimmer oder ins Esszimmer.
