How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Wirkt der salbeigrüne Himmel an einer weißen Wand grau?

An einer strahlend weißen Wand wirkt der Himmel wie ein sanftes Graugrün, und das Rosa in den Wolken tritt stärker hervor, als du vielleicht erwartest. An einer cremeweißen oder hellgrauen Wand liegen Himmel und Wand farblich nah beieinander, und die dunklen Bäume übernehmen die Hauptrolle. Beides funktioniert. Vermeide eine kräftig warme Cremewand, denn sie schiebt den Himmel eher Richtung Grau.

Wie breit sollte es über einem King-Size-Bett sein?

Ein King-Size-Bett ist im UK 150cm breit, also solltest du ungefähr 100 bis 120cm wählen. So bleibt auf beiden Seiten Platz für die Nachttische und die Baumlinie läuft über den Großteil des Kopfteils. Unter 80cm wirkt es an einer großen Wand schnell wie eine Postkarte, und der Mond schrumpft zu einem Punkt, den du suchen musst.

Ist es zu dunkel für ein Schlafzimmer mit wenig Licht?

Fast die Hälfte des Bildes besteht aus hellem Himmel, daher bringt es mehr Licht mit, als es auf den ersten Blick scheint. Das tiefe Grün sitzt unten und an einer Seite, sodass der obere Bereich offen bleibt. In einem dunklen Raum häng es gegenüber dem Fenster statt daneben auf, dann nimmt der Himmel jedes bisschen Tageslicht mit. Nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit reicht eine warme Nachttischlampe völlig aus.
