How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Welche Größe sollte ich für über dem Sofa wählen?
Orientier dich an etwa zwei Dritteln der Sofabreite, also passt zu einem 200-cm-Sofa ein Motiv von rund 130 bis 140 cm Breite. Das lange horizontale Format ist genau für diesen Platz gemacht, und mit 20 bis 25 cm Abstand über der Sofalehne wirken Hügel und Sitzmöbel wie eine Einheit statt wie zwei getrennte Dinge.

Welche Wandfarben passen dahinter?
Warmes Off-White, sanfter Stein, Mushroom und helles Salbei passen alle, weil sie den beigefarbenen Himmel und den Nebel aufgreifen. Auch eine dunklere grüne Wand funktioniert, wenn du möchtest, dass der helle Himmel davor leuchtet. Knalliges Reinweiß kann das Beige stumpf wirken lassen, daher ist ein etwas wärmeres Weiß die sicherere Wahl.

Ist das für ein kleines Schlafzimmer zu dunkel?
Nein. Fast die Hälfte des Bildes besteht aus hellem beige­farbenem Himmel und cremefarbenen Wolken, dazwischen liegt Salbeinebel, sodass es insgesamt leicht wirkt. Die tiefgrünen Grate setzen sich in Bändern ab und geben Tiefe, ohne den Raum zu verdunkeln. Über dem Kopfteil sorgt es für einen ruhigen, weit wirkenden Ausblick, was im Schlafzimmer sehr gut funktioniert.
