How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Passen die Farben zu grauen Wänden?
Kühles Grau ist die eine Wandfarbe, die sich mit diesem Motiv nicht verträgt. Der Sandgrund wirkt neben Blau-Grau schlammig, und den Vögeln fehlt ihre Wärme. Ist es zu unruhig über dem Bett?
Weniger, als du vielleicht denkst. Der größte Teil des Bildes ist schlichter Sand, also bleibt die Wand selbst bei 150 cm Breite ruhig, und die Vögel liegen als einzelnes Band auf der Höhe deiner Augen, wenn du im Bett sitzt. Halte die Bettwäsche einfarbig, etwa Oatmeal oder Altrosa, und verzichte auf ein gemustertes Kopfteil. So werden die Vögel zum einzigen Muster im Raum, und genau das macht es stimmig.
