How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Wirken die Farben in einem Raum ohne viel Tageslicht matt?

Wenig Licht steht ihm gut. Der helle Creme-Himmel behält unter einer warmen Lampe seine Leuchtkraft, und das braune Schilf wird tiefer statt zu verschwinden. Wie breit sollte es über einem Dreisitzer-Sofa sein?

Ziel sind zwei Drittel der Sofabreite, also etwa 120 cm über einem Standard-Sofa mit 180 cm Breite. Schmaler, und die fernen Hügel wirken nur noch wie ein Streifen und die Wand verliert ihre Tiefe. Hänge es tief, mit der Unterkante eine Handbreit über den Rückenkissen, damit der Horizont nah an der Sitzhöhe liegt. Lass den Rest der Wand frei.

Ist es zu dunkel für ein Schlafzimmer?

Himmel und Wasser nehmen deutlich mehr als ein Drittel des Bildes ein, deshalb wirkt es insgesamt eher hell als schwer. Über dem Kopfteil beruhigt es die Wand ähnlich wie eine schlichte Wandfarbe, nur mit mehr zum Anschauen. Kombiniere es mit weißer oder oater Leinenbettwäsche und einer Wand in tiefem Grün oder warmem Stein. Halt Muster davon fern.
